Hilda and I leave for Ghana at 8AM tomorrow, December 2nd. We'll be in Ghana for four months. We plan to put an ad in the nationally distributed Daily Graphic newspaper Friday, and offer free library books to any town which wants to establish a community library. Usually we have a lot of phone calls, and less response when we explain the requirements of using their local resources to site the library and provide the furniture. It takes community involvement to get the free books, but it works out better in the long run for them.
